Newbie interior lighting problem
« on: January 13, 2016, 01:47:35 pm »
I jus got a starter set, Penn Flyer 6-30233, and have a basic question. I tried several forum searches with no results.

The caboose is supposed to be illuminated--the interior, I assume. It doesn't light up. The manual suggests checking the bulb but doesn't say how to do that. Do I just unscrew the small Phillips screws in the base and take it apart? I'm afraid I'll screw something up.

Thanks for any help.

I had a light go out in one of my passenger cars. It has two bulbs but one had failed. I did what you said. I removed the phillips screws at each end of the car and the top came off. The car took a special light bulb that I was able to find on EBay.

Good luck!
