Hershey Candy Train

This year's Christmas lay-out will be "Coffee and Cocoa." The 2014 Lionel catalog had a Play gauge Hershey's candy  remote-controlled train that would go great on that lay-out.

I do remember that set and liked the boxcar very much.
l always look at junk shops & yard sales for the battery powered sets or rolling stock that will run on large scale track.
Often you can find a complete set for under 20$.  Might not be the cars/colors you want. But, Fusion Plastic Paint comes in a variety of colors......

Thank you, Dave. I hit every yard sale and junk shop I can find, but I haven't been able to find any Lionel Play gauge trains--yet.

Don't give up hope just the 2nd of February.
Soon large-scale battery powered sets will be showing up in yard sales and Goodwill other second hand stores just be patient a lot of people will Tire of them or the children will Tire of them and or break them..
The hunt for inexpensive trains and track is part of the fun so enjoy it you'll find them just keep looking.
Happy Rails!
