How to choose a dcc decoders and the dcc control kit

Hi, I new for model trains. Can any one tell me how to choose the dcc control kit and the dcc decoders? I do not have much budget.

Welcome to the forum!
DCC is usually associated with 2 rail trains, such as HO, N, Z, and G scales. "0" gauge  3 rail trains use a different system. There are 2 main systems being used, one made by Lionel, and the other by MTH.
What gauge and manufacturer trains do you have?

I plan to buy a PIKO HO loco, and use GM dcc02 control set, and use laisdcc decoders. How is this solution?

This forum is for 3 rail "0"gauge trains, and the electronics used are different from DCC, although some of the functions controlled may be similar. It is suggested that you ask your questions on a forum dedicated to the scale and type of control system you are interested in. Such a forum is here:
