Need help
« on: November 09, 2013, 07:50:34 pm »
Hello everyone!
I know nothing about trains, my dad left me this train set when he passed. I have no idea how to hook it up or if it even works. I'm also trying to find out the value. Any help is appreciated!
Here's the pics

Stuntmanmike,
Welcome to the forum!

Your father left you  some nice Post War trains & accessories,
Mainly Lionel, but I do see a nice tinplate Marx Glendale station
and  windup train track switches.

The following links will help you identify the individual pieces and
give you some idea of value.  You might also check the completed
auction prices on the online auction sites.

Yeah, the postwarlionel.com website is what I use when finding some old trains.
