Hello & Welcome to the Forum!

Lionel has made many sets over its' years of production. Your request for help would be a it easier to come up with an answer to, if you would tell what set you have.  Photo's are also very helpful in identifying sets. Do you have the set box and the individual train boxes? it affects the value.
my suggestion is to look at a Greenburgs' Guide and try to identify your set.
