Locomotive stuck in neutral
« on: July 08, 2013, 10:43:00 am »
I recently got my childhood train set back and am setting it up.  It is a Norfolk & Western Spirit of 76 set, and it seems to be stuck in neutral.  I give the transformer power and the locomotive lights light up, but it will not move

I am not familiar with the settings, and not entirely sure how to get it into and out of neutral and how to change directions.

Thanks
Dave

All,  thank you for the help.  I ended up purchasing another e-unit on ebay, and that solved the problem.

it solved the problem till you bump the switch and your new locomotive wont run, wouldnt it be better to post a couple of pics so you have two running locomotives? after all were talking about whats probably a free fix
