Vapour Smoke Stake
« on: November 07, 2024, 01:36:36 pm »
Hi we based in New Zealand so can not get replacement parts here.

We bought a Winter Wonderland Express RTP Train Set (7-12086) last week and were so excited to put it under our tree. Yes we put our tree up in Nov so we can have holiday cheer for much longer.

The train works great but there is no smoke. This is Vapour Smoke so only needs water. I contacted Lionel, only to be told that they can not help in NZ. The person who sold it to us has no more and had imported it so do not want to just give it back as for this one issue the train still works.

I need to know if anyone has had this issue or can help me troubleshoot it to get it to work. I do have some technical skills so could open it to see if there is an issue but would like to know if anyone else has done this before I do.

All help welcome.
