LionChief and LionChief + problems
« on: February 20, 2015, 09:30:02 pm »
I have seen reference to LionChief and LC+ problems on a different forum.

The problems were not specified and were not discussed. I think the reference
was similiar to "If Lionel can get the LC and LC+ problems fixed, this might be
a winner". Paraphrased somewhat because I have not been able to find it again.

Are there real problems or is this another case of Lionel bashing?

I do not recall reading about any specific, recurring problems with either LionChief or LionChief Plus sets. The only problems I have read so far are generic problems affecting all model lines.
The only "wish" that most Lionel hobbyists have is to be able to upgrade the LionChief/Plus locomotives to full TMCC/Legacy control so these locos can be run on a full command layout without using 2 remotes.
