General Lionel Model Train Discussion / Re: Tender ID
« on: March 21, 2025, 12:40:25 pm »
Hi mtnman, Not for sure. I just paired with 681 engine. The info I came up with, that engine had a 6-wheel tender. I guess it's got to be a 2426W or a 2671W that you mentioned in your replay. I could post a picture, if you would like to see it. I have looked it over many times and there is no number amy place on it. I guess it cot rubbed off somehow. Dockside

Lionel Maintenance & Repair / UCS conversion to toggle switch
« on: January 26, 2023, 07:53:47 pm »
Hi, I am looking for a good diagram showing how to run my UCS remote track form a toggle momentary switch (on) off (on). I found a few on line, however they fall short of showing what wires go where. Need to know what toggle switch to use and so on. I want to keep all the functions of the track (unload and uncouple) and stay with the power form the track #3 on the track. The ones I found on line won't do that. Does anybody have a diagram showing how to do this?
Regards Dockside

Hi, I would like to know the difference between Standard O trucks and sprung trucks. I think both of them have springs in them. Pictures would be a great help. Thanks dockside
