[ Attachment Invalid Or Does Not Exist ] How important is it in your opinions to build your layout to have the ability to move trains in both directions ? attached is my layout I am currently working on. Needless to say I have tore it apart 3 times already. any suggestions would be appreciated. Also I need sidings for unloading and loading of different products, wood ,oil, cars , whatever I decide.

Build your layout according to how you want to run your trains. I had a layout with 2 loops so I could run trains in opposite directions. It also had the capacity to reverse the directions of the trains on those loops.

Keep on building layouts until you find one that satisfies you.

l agree with Larry, build your layout as you want it.

l run my trains in both directions regardless of the initial layout to help keep track and wheel wear even.

happy rails...
