Product Review: Lionel Large Gauge Frozen Train
« on: April 20, 2021, 09:13:38 pm »
Powered by 6 C batteries, the Large Gauge (formerly called "Play Gauge") has a 4-4-0 American locomotive. It runs well, and all the bells and whistles work--recordings, of course. The locomotive does look like a toy; the tender is well-detailed; the box car has two sliding doors, and the Disney artwork is magnificent; the flatcar features Olaf the Snowman skating in a circle, and yes, he really moves.

I really didn't want this train, but it was on sale, and since it works great and is popular with guests, I got my money's worth.
