The Lionel shipping schedule is a joke and so is the customer support.
The Grand Central Terminal was due out Aug. from a April order date, and it's still not in!  The Lionel web site is a joke, and when you ask questions from customer service they can answer anything in detail.  Why post a schedule if it's never accurate?  Why post a schedule if its not updated?  Grand central terminal as a christmas present in 2013 on the 100 anniversary of the real terminal?  I don't think so.  Way to disappoint again Lionel! 

I am sorry you feel that way. Lionel's manufacturer in china has been behind on production for a long time. Also, the terminal was in high demand, so you can not expect them to be exactly on time. For such a high quality company, Lionel can make up for being behind in its high quality.
