Different Power, Intersecting Track
« on: December 22, 2021, 02:20:14 pm »
Good day, all. I have decided to expand from a "Christmas tree train" to an actual layout. My original train is an older Polar Express, powered by the CW-80, and I have just acquired a Santa Fe LionChief. I would like to run both simultaneously. What I envision is two tracks (one for the transformer, one for the LionChief) that intersect at two points. Is this scenario even possible by using block sections, or must I keep the tracks isolated? Obviously, I am brand new at this hobby, and I appreciate your indulging my ignorance.
