Ok I'm running fixed voltage of 16V to nine 022 switches on my layout and I have LED bulbs in the 022C controllers.  These are nice because I have five different colors in switch board.  I have a blue line, a green line, a white line, a yellow line, and a red line. 


The problem was after burning out a dozen of the 12V LED I decided to take matters into my own hands.  I modded my 022c controllers so they would correctly operate a screw in 12 volt LED and still provide 16V to the 022.  All you need is a 1/8 watt 1k resistor before each bulb.  You can get 50 of these mailed from China to your house for $1.  You get 50 of these screw in LED for around $25 mailed from China to your house.
