Can you put two switches together to work as a cross over but use one controller to control both switches?

Dave,
since no one else has offered an opinion, I believe that it would work.
Whether they would have to be wired in series or just have their separate
wires connected to the same button is something you'd have to experiment
with.  The only problem I can think of might be not having enough power
to fully operate the switches unless you're using a separate power source
for your accessories.

I don't think that would work.

That will work fine for Fastrack switches. The power requirement is very small with Fastrack. The only caution is that you only need to connect one yellow wire connection to the controller.
That is, connect the two black wires together from the two switches to the one black wire on the controller, the two green wires from the switches to the one green wire on the controller, and the two red wires from the switches to the one red wire on the controller. The yellow wire on the controller can go to either one of the switches.
