Polar Express 1225 Legacy
« on: September 23, 2021, 08:45:36 pm »
Hey everyone, new member here. I have what I'd say (IMHO) is a very good to great condition Lionel Legacy Polar Express Berkshire locomotive and tender. I was wondering/testing the waters to see what people are offering for them. I love mine but I'm really a 2-8-0 guy and have a Chessie Steam Special T-1 that I run primarily at my office. I saw an ebay listing of one for almost $5,000 and thought they were insane until I called a shop and they said they were currently in high demand. I have the original packaging and styrofoam, I just need to find the orange box. If someone is interested in it I have pictures and videos of it running, I would be happy to let it go for the right price. It was purchased from "The Train Station" in Mountain Lakes, NJ and I've kept it in the box and run it every few months just to keep it active. It has maybe 14 hours of run time on it max if that.
