ISO 8020 Santa Fe ABA and 8030 Illinois Central
« on: January 10, 2021, 04:01:54 pm »
Hello all. I am new here, so please excuse any posting errors I make. When I was 7 years old, my entire Lionel train collection was stolen from my home. 45 years later I am trying to rebuild the collection for my 7 year old son. My 2 favorite pieces were a 8020 Santa Fe ABA with magnatraction and an Illinois Central 8030. If anyone has these for sale in pristine condition,  please contact me. Thank you!

Hello & Welcome to the Forum!

I can relate..  Tho l gave my trains to a nephew when l got drafted instead of having them stolen...
40+ years later l too hunted up my first electric train set.  It took some time, but eventually i did it.
Finding replacements can be time consuming, hunting online auctions, sales sites and online forums.
Eventually you will find what you're looking for.  Fortunately, the prices of rolling stock have declined overall,
so relocating them shouldn't put you on beans & rice....
Good Luck!

Happy Rails!
