Hello & Welcome to the Forum.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Not an unusual story in the train world.
Yes, go ahead and make a post,  please  include photgraphs of the trains.
That will help in estimating value.
Also you can visit the various auction sites online and view the past selling prices for similar items.
Of course everyone want to receive the highest prices for their trains, but be realistic unless you want
 to put them up for auction and take your chances.
