Lionel Fire Car 52
« on: January 09, 2020, 11:45:58 am »
I am restoring my Lionel Fire Car 52 which I received as a gift along with the rest of my Lionel train set in 1959.  The hose reel handle is broken off.  I am ordering a new reel which I found on eBay.  My question is how to remove the old reel from the Fire Car 52 body.  There appears to be a metal clip that covers either side of the hose reel.  Any help on this is much appreciated.  Regards,  Jack Weston
