How to replace wires for 022 Remote Control Switches
« on: December 31, 2020, 12:50:01 pm »
My dad passed away in 2016 and my sister found his old Lionel 675 from 1948 in the back of the closet. I've been slowly fixing it and for the first time got it up around the Christmas tree this year running without throwing sparks. :) My next goal is to fix the switch track but the insulation on the wires have dried out and began to crack exposing the bare wires. I need to replace these but want to know a source for this wire. I'm new to this and want to preserve the train set as best a I can for sentimental reasons Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can provide.

You need the 3 conductor wire, referenced as FC3 where you can buy it from The Train Tender.
