Eric,
Here's what I could find... You'll have to go through the manual , pages 23-25 deal with the tender sounds using a conventional transformer. You might try the reset on page 27. SP Daylight Manual http://www.lionel.com/media/servicedocuments/6551711419250LEGACYGS2.pdf GS-2 manual/schematic http://www.lionel.com/media/servicedocuments/191-8007Complete.pdf Tender manual/schematic http://www.lionel.com/media/servicedocuments/19691-8007-T01.pdf Hopefully one of the more knowledgeable members will chime in here.. Here's a link that will answer your question.
2245 is an issue of the 2243 AB set. 2245C B unit would be the mate for the 2245C-AB set. http://www.tandem-associates.com/lionel/lionel_trains_2243_diesel.htm 433
Postwar Lionel Trains 1945-1969 / Dream Locomotive's« on: February 02, 2013, 04:45:20 pm »
I think we all have what we consider our "Dream Locomotive."
For me it is the Lionel Dreyfus 221 Locomotive It was produced in 1946 & '47. Produced in Two colors: Gray or Black It had two tenders available 221T & 221W(whistle) I remember seeing one in a department store Christmas layout as a kid and was hooked! [ Attachment Invalid Or Does Not Exist ] 434

General Lionel Model Train Discussion / Re: Problems with new locos« on: February 02, 2013, 03:35:46 pm »
Curt,
it does seem to be a problem with many trains manufacturers. in the various scales. Here's a link that somewhat explains what happened. http://www.trainmaster.ch/Y-807.htm There are US manufacturers, making trains here in the US, but most are right spendy. Hartland Locomotive Works, In Laporte, Indiana, manufacturer of reasonably priced, made in USA, 1:24th scale trains. http://h-l-w.com/ They're as bullet proof as the made in Germany-LGB trains(pre-bankruptcy). My fantasy is winning the lottery and start manufacturing trains here in the US... |
