Thanks. It’s the only Piece of my Lionel collection that I had as a kid that somehow I didn’t get rid of and the car that got me back into after 30 some years. And of course it’s my favorite

Lionel Maintenance & Repair / Headlight replacement?

Is it possible to replace the headlight in this unit? It has been intermittent this Christmas and now it’s totally out.

And where can I source one from?  Also does the circuit board on the interior of the engine simply glue to the inside via some foam?  Seems as if I rip it off how do I put it back correctly?  Thanks on advance
