apparently there's yet another free app for OS X: http://www.railmodeller.com/express-edition-en.html

Had only a quick look yet but can't complain about what I've seen so far (it's free after all..)

Hi all -

there's also the free XTrackCAD (now Open Source) available for
  • Windows
  • Linux
  • MacOSX

for free (and possibly others if you know what to do with the source code..).
