Thanks Larry. I had found that sheet but did not scroll down far enough to see the sketch of the attachment of the rubber band.

Hi,
I am rehabing a 3512 fire ladder car.  Just got the rubberband which connects the rear axles to the pulley to activate the system, but can't figure out just how it should be attached.
Can anyone help with this?

Hi,
I am restoring a Lionel 3530 Electric Generator car.  There is a short at the roller pickup which I can't find.  I wonder if a piece of insulation is missing or if the roller assembly is too loose.

Can someone who had a working example of this car send me a good photo of the roller area?
