Hello all!

Maybe someone can shed a little light on what's happening here.  I'm using O27 tubular track which I'm sure you're all too familiar with.
The original pins are 0.093" (3/32") diameter.  I went to replace them with stainless steel and the replacements are 0.092".  I see no issue so far with this.
However, when you go to insert the new pin into used track - all my track is used so I figured I should mention this - the stainless pins only insert so far and that's it!
I keep trying and end up damaging the track...  I've done it.   Go to put the original steel pin back in (and it's also a thousandth thicker) and
it goes right in.  Go figure.  The only difference is the SS pins are missing that are not pointed and are missing that groove on each end as well.

Anyone else ever have this "issue"?  I went back to new standard steel pins for now but I'm really curious to see what others have experienced.

Thanks! ???
