Finally got someone at Lionel that knew what they were doing. They sent me to axle bearings and the engine once again has life left in her. Thanks for the replies and help.

Thanks for the information guys, its greatly appreciated. I spoke to Mr Hennings and unfortunately he did not have any parts for the truck. But I located some on the west coast and they were great to work with and they located parts there and I bought 10 bushings from them and I repaired the truck, now the "Engine From Hell" is back up and running. Also found some at Trainz, thanks to Nickster for sending me the Trainz link. I appreciate all of you model Rail Roaders.

Thanks for the link. These look very close to the ones I need, I will call Trainz and see if they can give me more information. If not I can always buy 1 pack and see if they fit. Many thanks for the information.

I posted in the buy and sale. Also, how do you load images here in the forum? Can you send me a link that shows the procedure?

I am looking for parts for my Lionel engine. Penn. S-2 Steam Turbine. Made around 1991. Item number 6 -18010. I am looking for the rear truck under the engine compartment, or an entire engine ( not running is fine) so I can use it for parts. Anyone have one you need to get rid of at a reasonable price? This is a 6/8/6. If someone has the plastic Axle bushings for this truck that would work also. I need some very badly, cant run my engine with out Axle bushings.

Greetings to all model railroaders. I hope someone on here can help an old man out. I have a Lionel 6-18010 Pennsylvania S2 6-8-6 Turbine Steam Engine, the bushings on the rear of the engine truck has gone bad. So I have been looking for Axle bushings for my truck so I can keep this great running engine going. If I cant locate any bushings then I will buy a used or new truck if I can locate it. Its a 6 wheel or 3 Axle truck. So if anyone knows where I can locate one I would love to hear from you. I would even buy a non running engine for the parts. So anyone out there...HELP........
