I have an ORIGINAL Lionel Polar Express Set from 2004. I just purchased the LionChief Version of the Loco & Tender only. If I run on DC with the wall plug, can I use my original lighted cars or will DC blow all the light bulbs? What about the Conductor Announcement Car...will it still work? (why do they sell a Conductor Announcement Car specifically for the LionChief set?) Will Animated cars work on DC? Will animated Plug & Play accessories work on DC?
I have e-mailed Lionel Service 6 times about this and gotten no reply!
