Postwar Lionel Trains 1945-1969 / Lionel steam engine from my childhood

when we were kids in the early '50's my older brother had a Lionel steam engine and a whistling tender. the thing I remember is that the red keystone on the front of the boiler had intertwined "PRR" lettering. All the pictures of engines I've seen posted on line have numerals, not lettering, on the keystone. Is my imagination playing tricks on me, or was there an actual steam engine model that had that type of keystone? that engine is long gone, unfortunately, but my brother is still around and I'd like to get him that model engine as a present, so please don't tell me it's now a rare collector's item worth thousands of smackers.
