Thanks for your reply but I still have a problem...I need to see a picture or diagram of the wiring inside the switch controller.  My cable is three conductor, all black with no terminals on the wires that go to the track switch.  Some of the wires inside the controller are broken or not attached or soldiered so I don't know what goes where....any ideas or help would greatly be appreciated.

I would like to know or see a wiring diagram to wire the remote control to the track switch?  I have the Lionel "027" track and can't find my wiring diagram for the 1122 switch. Thanks in advance for any help I may receive.
