Title: 6-38048 Lionel Switcher 0-8-0 sound sync

For the Lionel 0-8-0 (6-38048) would someone please tell me how to sync the sounds coming from the tender to the actual movement of this locomotive; It is intermittent and doesn't correspond to the speed. The whistle sounds rarely. Thanks.
