Title: Re: Difference between two U28 CG models

Dave,

Thank you for the reply.  From what I can see, the one that came in the set has lighted number boards and railsounds 5.0.  The other one looks like it does not have lighted number boards and it only said it has railsounds. Since it was produced in 2002 what version of railsounds might it have as the manual does not state.

Thanks,

Ed

Hello & Welcome to the Forum!

I've just did a quick read of the manuals for each, and the only difference I could find right off
is the lack of lighted number boards on the U28/U30C that are on the Set locomotive.
Here's links to the manuals for them.
See page 2 of each manual for locomotive specifications.

Could some tell me the difference between Santa Fe U28 CG 6-182293 (2002 Vol. catalog) and the Santa Fe 6-28249 (I believe part of the 6-31748 train set 2007 Vol. 1).  I know the paint schemes were different, I am talking electronically, railsounds, etc.

Thanks,
