Hello,

I am new to the forum. Did you figure it out? There's a switch on the bottom of the coal car (I believe) that lets you choose if you want it on or off. I bought one too this year, it's great!

Just got the polar express set I'm not getting any sound for the chugging or any of the buttons on the remote for announcements, bell and horn.
