What's Your Holy Grail For Trains?
« on: October 01, 2014, 09:20:49 pm »
We all hear stories or read on forums about someone finally getting that piece of rolling stock that they consider their Holy Grail.
For me it was a Grey 1946 Lionel 221 Dreyfuss Hudson with a 221W Whistling Tender.

Then I discovered a new Holy Grail, a Marx Mercury Wind Up Passenger Set.
Mine arrived via the big brown box truck, today.

Show & Tell Time Folks.  What's Your Holy Grail for Trains?

Happy Rails!
Dave

(secretly, an Accucraft 1:29 Live Steam Dreyfuss Hudson is my Holy Grail, but at $4K+, it will remain a dream.)
