Vision bigboy coal load
« on: February 06, 2015, 09:30:04 am »
My vision bigboy will not respond when the coal load is full. It should say coal is full. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

Call the Lionel Service dept. and describe the symptoms to them. They may have a solution to offer you, or advise you to send the locomotive in for repair.

Contacted lionel and they told me that it doesn't say coal full. I told them thats a surprise your manual says it does. How in the world can you avertise something and then not produce it. Thanks

Could you please explain in detail what function of the Vision Big Boy is not functioning as expected.
Here is the owners' manual for the Vision Big Boy:

Could you reference the page and paragraph that explains a function that you are not getting, as per your post.

It would be page 21. When locomotive is stopped press aux1 then 0 Held 3 seconds. Coal loading sounds. Crew: Coal is full. The water works fine Thanks

Thanks for the reference.
If the function does not work as specified in the owners' manual, contact the dealer where you purchased the locomotive from, and confirm that your locomotive is malfunctioning, then call Lionel for an RA number for warranty repair.

What lionel is telling me is that the locomotive dose not have this function at all. I told the person on the phone why would you advertise that this locomotive has this feature put it in the manual and not produce it. Thanks
