I'm looking to purchase a Thomas train for my son. I really like the O scale size and plan to have it suspended from ceiling. There are a lot of reviews saying it is bad quality and doesn't work. Does anyone have the Lionel thomas?

Is it true? All the bad reviews for Lionel Thomas?

Having not read any reviews on the Lionel '0' gauge Thomas set, I can only say that the quality should be on a par with all of the rest of Lionels' trains. If there are any issues with the set, the warranty will get it replaced or repaired for you.
I would not hesitate getting the Thomas set for your son.

Stacey,  Hello & Welcome to the Forum.
I am in agreement with TrainLarry on the set.
I have read a few negative reviews on the set, but are no more than normal for any product.
Purchase locally if possible. If you do purchase on line, do so from a business that actually is
involved with the hobby.

Happy Rails!
