Looking for Advice on Old Lionel Trains
« on: May 13, 2014, 10:24:16 pm »
Gentlemen, I'm new to the forum and not an active modeler.  My question relates to my childhood train set which has been wrapped up for over 50 years!  Guess it was always at the back of my mind to someday set it up again, but I realize that will not happen and I've reached the time of life when it's time to "lighten up" on stuff.  The items are in pretty rough condition, but rather than dump them, I'd love to see them go to someone or some place where they may be valued. I've attached a few pictures and would be willing to send a full set of photos to anyone interested.  Any advice you could give with regard to this will be most appreciated.
