Upgrade to Bluetooth

Hello and thanks in advance for the assist.
I recently purchased a used Thomas Tank Engine set (6-30190) that has a Lion Chief remote but not Bluetooth.
Can I simply purchase a new PCB and replace the existing control board to gain this function?
