Newbie here, Don't know absolutely nothing about train sets, picked up this old set from a yard sale, I don't know its value or how to hook It up, I would like to get this running for my son and learn about these train sets.

Here is a link to an instruction sheet that explains how to do everything you need to do to assemble the track, hook up the transformer, and run your trains.
